Overview
Fiberglass Batt Insulation in Central Texas
Fiberglass batts are the most common insulation in Texas homes for good reason: they’re affordable, non-combustible and do a great job when they’re installed carefully. The catch is that word, carefully. A batt that’s compressed, gapped or stuffed around wiring can lose a big share of its rated R-value.
Our crew cuts every batt to fit snug around outlets, pipes and framing, with no gaps or voids, so you get the performance printed on the bag.
Why choose it
Benefits of fiberglass batts.
Lowest-cost wall insulation
The most economical choice for open stud walls and floors.
Clean, precise installs
Every batt is cut to fit, so there are no gaps or compressed spots.
Non-combustible
Fiberglass doesn't burn, which adds a layer of safety inside walls.
Quieter rooms
Batts in interior walls cut noise between bedrooms, baths and living areas.

FAQ
Fiberglass Batts questions.
Have a different question? Call (979) 242-3976.
Batts or blown-in: which should I choose?
Batts are best for open walls and floors in new construction or remodels. For existing attics, blown-in usually gives better coverage for the money.
Can you add batts to finished walls?
Not without removing drywall. For closed walls in older homes, dense-packed blown-in cellulose is usually the better option.
Kraft-faced or unfaced?
Kraft-faced batts include a vapor retarder and are typically used in exterior walls. Unfaced batts go where a vapor retarder isn’t needed, like interior walls or over existing insulation.
Do batts help with noise?
Yes. Batts in interior walls and between floors noticeably reduce sound between rooms.
